This site is based on group participation in spotting interesting and potentially profitable stock chart formations. If you see a chart pattern that looks interesting, please post an alert on this site. You can also get opinions from others and even some fundamental analysis to validate the pattern.
We've tried and realized that there isn't a website or software program on the planet that can identity "real" formations. For example, our links page (under construction - please bear with us) lists a few good websites for spotting stocks on the move. The problem however, and we encourage you to try it, is finding which ones are real patterns like an ascending triangle or a head and shoulders bottom. It really relies on human interpretation for identification, preferably with group participation. Hence, this site was created. If you see something.... post something.
What you do with the information on this site is up to you. However, we believe the most benefit can be gained from short term trades or swing trading. Short term typically refers to a time period of no more than several months. Swing trading typically refers to a time period of one day to several weeks.
The best way to use this site is look at postings that are the most recent. We believe they would make good short term trades, but you could definitely use the information for longer term trading strategies as well.
The use of a good chart pattern site is essential. A couple of good websites are www.barchart.com and www.stockcharts.com. There are many others as well.
Why register? Not registering will not prevent you from accessing the information contained on the site. However, registering will build your identity on the site as you post information. Why do you ask for my email address in order to register? If you forget your password, you can choose to have our system automatically send a temporary password to your email address.
